Who we are: "CareNexa," operated by Molecular Testing Labs, 14401 SE 1st Street, Vancouver, WA 98684, support@carenexa.health.

1) Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you visit our websites, create an account, register a DNA kit, interact with our AI helper, contact support, or otherwise use our consumer wellness Services in the United States. This policy is separate from our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, which applies to Protected Health Information (PHI) handled in connection with lab testing and related operations.

2) Information We Collect

  • Account & contact: name, email, phone, address, date of birth, account credentials, security settings.
  • Order & kit: purchase details, Kit ID(s), activation date, shipping status.
  • Wellness data you provide: questionnaires, preferences, goals, notes you add to your account.
  • AI helper interactions: questions you ask and our responses, to operate and improve the feature. Our AI helper provides educational explanations only and does not interpret or diagnose medical conditions.
  • Technical data: device/browser, app and page activity, crash logs, approximate location from IP, and similar analytics. We use Google Analytics to collect usage data and improve our Services.
  • Support communications: messages, call notes, attachments you send to support.
  • PHI from testing: when your information is used for testing and report delivery, it is handled as PHI under HIPAA (see our HIPAA Notice).

3) How We Use Information

  • Provide and improve the Services, including testing, results delivery, education, and support.
  • Set up and secure accounts; authenticate sign-ins; prevent fraud and misuse.
  • Process orders, shipping, activations, and notifications.
  • Personalize content and recommendations; operate the AI helper.
  • Perform analytics, quality assurance, auditing, and compliance.
  • Communicate with you about your account, results availability, updates, or policy changes.
  • Honor your choices and consents.

4) When We Share Information

We do not sell your identifiable information. We may share information with:

  • Accredited labs and clinical networks that process your sample or authorize testing.
  • Service providers that host, secure, analyze, or support our systems under written agreements.
  • Your designees when you ask us to share or download your report.
  • Legal or safety disclosures as required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
  • De-identified data for validation, quality, analytics, research, or product improvement. De-identified and aggregated data may be used or commercialized without further notice to you.

5) Your Choices & Rights

  • Access, download, or request a copy of certain information.
  • Request correction of inaccurate account information.
  • Change preferences and consents; withdraw optional consents at any time.
  • Request deletion of your account. Certain lab or legal records must be retained for required periods.
  • Control sharing: you decide if you share your report with a coach, trainer, or clinician.
  • Manage cookies and analytics: you can control Google Analytics and other tracking technologies through your browser settings or our cookie management tool.

6) Data Retention

We keep information only as long as needed to provide the Services and to meet laboratory, quality, business, and legal requirements. After retention periods expire, data is deleted or de-identified.

7) Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, workforce training, audit logging, and vendor due diligence. No system is perfectly secure; we maintain incident response procedures to address issues.

8) Children

Services are intended for adults. For minors, a parent or legal guardian must create/activate the account and provide consent. We may ask for documents to verify authority.

9) United States Only

We operate in the United States. If you access our Services from elsewhere, you consent to U.S. processing and laws.

10) Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our Services or laws. The effective date shows the latest version.
